what race to pick

Hello there, i will get the game soon and after reading lots of posts and faqs i finally decided im gonna do a WAR/SAM

What i dont have clear is what race to pick , an Elvaan or a Galka.

I saw that the galka has better overall stats than the Elvaan , but this one wins in strenght.

So what u guys think , it would be the most PRACTICAL/USEFUL/STRONG (not cute )
that i could choose?

pick whichever one suits the role you're trying to fill. Wanna look freakin badass? I'd suggest going with Elvaan then. Also, elvaan DOES have killer strength...:spin:

Stat wise, Galka are simply the best at any non-mp melee job. Elvaan would edge them out with superior strength with monks, since strength is a large factor in monk damage. If you choose Galka, don't expect to be a mage.

Thats not true there are a lot of Galka Mages out there that are pretty good, you just gotta know how to play one, and have the right equipment.

Yes, you can choose a galka mage. You are allowed to make any job/race combination you want. Doesn't mean a party will want you though.
So for the sake of argument...

if I were you, and were going to choose between Galka or Elvaan, I'd choose Elvaan.

If you get bored with war/sam.

You have a better chance of playing another job, even a mage, though you will still have to use items to keep up with mp. And Elvaan have good mind.

Yeah, like Malachi_Gage said, Elvaan have the best attack. You will love doing damage with Elvaan war/sam.

Galka is a better WAR/SAM than Elvaan.

Hands down. Period.

Elvaan isn't that bad though, and really no one except yourself will care whether you're perfect, or almost perfect. If you want to be as good as possible, though, pick Galka.
