Subjob switcharoo...

Hi.

I'm too low level to qualify for a subjob, but I've been wondering about this regardless.

Let's say I'm a lvl30 Rdm and have Nin and Blm trained up to 10 or 15. Now, lets say I'm in Rdm/Nin "mode" out soloing and an opportunity arrives for a PT. They need a Rdm/Blm. How difficult is it for me to switch over to the Rdm/Blm combo? Do I have to run all the way back to the Mog House or something?

Yes, you have to be in your Mog House in order to change jobs, main or sub.

Yeah, as it was said, you have to go back to your mog house. This may be tough from levels 10-30, just because all the parties you find will most likely be pick-up parties out in the hunting grounds.
After 30, though, you start to just sit around town with your flag up, or wandering around wherever you want to let people find you in/near town. Most players no longer go and wait at the actual hunting grounds (which is great, a lot better).

This way - you'll easily be able to switch to whatever job you need for that particular party, before leaving to meet up with them.
You'll also want to make sure to fill out your search comment ("-" menu, "search" "edit comment"), and tell them all the subjobs you have that you'd offer to use. (Just letting you know in case you didn't already).
