Which Race?

its either mithra warrior elvaan monk or hume thief then later on progress mithra to ranger elvaan to ninja or sam and hume thief to nninja

hmm out of the combinations ur giving, i would have to say the mithra would be the best, because the sub is most benneficiary to the main, not because of the stats. nin/monk sam/monk nin/thief are all not good combinations. for a nin the best sub would have to be a war. for sam, it is the same. bascially if you pick the right sub and equipment anything works race wise.. except a elvaan thief.. :sweat: this is where race bites you in the ass. dex=sneak dmg, im not talking about accuracy.

oops i was real tired when i wrote the thing up above srry i didnt help you =( id go with hume THf > Sam/Thf (or whatever u wanted to do with that) ...hume is second best race to whatever the "best" is statwise......so ya ^_~ hume will work pretty good with anyjob as awntawn pointed out in a diffrent thread

lol mithra is going to be ranger/thief but starting off thief even though her damage will suck front on :D

ranger/thief is not good... its good for farming gil or hunting NMs but sneak/trick does not work with bows or guns. so they get nothing to help them to fight except a evasion bonus that doesnt help because most of the monsters your going to be attacking will have a high accuracy that will hit you almost everytime.

for nin/war to be good you need to provoke...which requires blink ninjitsu ......that costs 60k or you can pay 20k to get fame for a quest....and then you need to do the quest......THF/NIN is a good combo (i tryin to mix up your job combos a bit for you ^_^) mithra RNG/NIN is good combo SAM/WAR is good combo WAR/sam is good combo and THF/MNK is good combo.....

^^ i agree with everything you said except thf/monk. its good at lower lvls but other subs do much more dmg. its an okay sub if you use claws and boost right.. what is the dmg of a fully boosted sneak/trick?

i hear damage is good with fully boosted sneak...but ive never tried....i like the look of claws more then dagger..it would do ok i suppose but you're right there alot better subjobs for theif then monk..just an alternative to be origional ^_~

i dont want the best if i wanted to be god id go war elvaan then progress to samurai i want to have fun but be able to play. and elvaan was going to progress to sam and then make a sub as a warrior thats just the start and ranger/thief will be used for getting gold of course im going to get a warrior im not stupid but i WANT to have fun not be god. Right now im making a mithra thief which will progress at level 18 to warrior level warrior to 30 then get a ranger jeez? im starting on a new server and the combos you are giving are something i wouldnt do on some

also nin/monk sam/monk nin/thief i dont go nin/monk id rather go nin/thief or vice versa due to the fact you can give full potientel to your thief sam/monk ew id go sam/war but id progress to sam o.O

they're giving you combinations not to be a god on the game but to be useful enough to attract party invites. people with funky job combos will have to wait a lot longer to get a party. but in the end, it's just all up to your preference. try em out, then see what you like.

ya ^^ what fredrick said is what i am doing...but not all good combos get u invites......ive done drk/war and drk/thf and drk/sam and was level 30 for a week! i hit 31 and havnt gotten into a grp for 3 days...........


i am just trying to mix up all the combos of your jobs you have written down to make a few combos that will make you better off but still be fun ^^

THATS BECAUSE YOUR 31. do you not read anything? sam sub sucks for anyclass untill you get to lvl 60. that is when you get meditate and makes the sam sub good. thief sub, you can't control the hate til your 60 because you don't have trick, and the paladin doesnt have flash yet.

albert you're quite the arrogent one..thinking you know it all.....i am just saying ive tried a number of diffrent of subjobs and there is too many dark knights on my server for me to get into a group.....
