Okie, well I was talking to people from my future LS, and asking them about what to do...

I've always really planned to be Support, so ending up with BRD/WHM...

But under advisement people tell me of 3 Teleport Quests obtainable at like 37 (i think) which would make it worth hanging on as a WHM then subbing BRD... But would it be effective as a sub with WHM as main?

Any help/advisement is very much appreciated... TIA!!

The largest problem with subbing BRD is that your effectiveness is halved (beyond just having the half-level) because you cannot equip an instrument. This means that you can only play one song at a time, unlike a BRD main. As such, most people consider BRD to be really gimped as a sub. Also, you would be less effective as a WHM when subbing BRD because BRD adds no MP.

Because you can only play 1 song, you're actual bard effectivenss is 1/4 because your sub is half your level and you can only play 1 song instead of 2.

It's one of the jobs what are nerfed if you sub them, along with thief (no sneak damage multiplier as sub).
