taru melee cant see

I was playing in Tahongri, fighting in a party with Dahmels. ANd one thing i noticed was that when u got close to the monster, the chat window covered the tarutaru and you couldnt see fighting at all, i tried changing the view but its pretty impossible to see anything. This is my question, i want to be a DRK, taru, but when i fight things i want to actually be able to see my attacks, and if im too close i dont want the chat window to get in my way and i dont want to waste time i want to be able to see my taru, and see him fight and if its just damels that it does this, or if its pretty much everythign when you are a taru. simple, just cant see when fighting dahmels up close, will this be with other monsters or not? do i have to worry about this when thinking about meleeing as a taru?

Limit the height your chat box can go while you're in groups. Problem solved. Also, don't hug the mobs nuts, stand back a bit.

Look at your choices in configuration.

You can CHANGE the chat box to transparent, as well as change how many lines it displays.

its something like "Global", ""config", or "windows" or something once in game.

Play in first person mode when fighting.

I would make the menus transparent like someone else said. That helps. Also try a different angle maybe.

Well, you were fighting Dhamels.. even as a hume I can't see shit when fighting dhamels if I keep it locked. Just un-lock the target.

Just turn off /lockon when fighting them.

"H" will also toggle lockon whenever you have something targetted for the compact keyboard controls.
