Should i start off my job like this?

i'd like to be a warrior/ninja/dark knight.
is this combination possible?
my main job's warrior my sub is a ninja and the advance is a dark knight...

Erm.. Your only allowed to have a main / sub. Advanced job is just a job you can get once one of your jobs reaches lvl 30. However you can switch between the 2 subs by going to your mog house depending on what the upcoming situation needs. But any combo of jobs is possible.

even samurai or dragoon etc? or are these for advance jobs?
now is a warrior/monk/dark knight a good combo?

i'm kinda lost can some1 explain to me main jobs, sub jobs and advance jobs?

"Advanced" Jobs are just normal jobs you can pick as long as you finish specific quests to unlock them. An advanced job can either be your main and/or subjob. But most advanced jobs dont make good subjobs.

Well from what i understand, and keep in mind this is from a non-beta tester or anything, the way things work are the following:

Your character has a main job and a sub job(no advance job). You have to do some quest at lvl 18 to be able to use a sub job. The advanced jobs that you've heard about are basically just like your standard job, with the difference being that you need to do a quest at lvl 30 to unlock them. Now if you want to use an advanced job you simply make for example the dark knight your main/sub job depending on what you want to ect. So yes you can choose anything as your main/sub job.

Oh and just to clarify, you seem to think there is a third job you can take and this is not true, there is only a main and a sub. So a valid job combo would be warrior/monk, or dark knight/dragoon, or monk/dark knight ect. ect. ect.


I'm pretty sure what i said is correct though if i'm not i'm sure someone who already has the game will be able to clarify it for you...
