Is it just me or...

Is it just me or have the drop rates for the genkai 1 quest items dropped? I fought lichs for 10 hours (not straight, but on 2 different occasions) and succeeded in getting only one drop for the entire period. I was told that this item is a fairly regular drop, not too common but not too rare. Can anyone shed light on this or will I be half way to lvl 52 by the time this item drops. Cheers.

Don't know...

It took Me, Dream, Delirium, Evilkitty, Evilghost, Takato, and Densetsu two and a half hours worth of Exoray killing mayhem for it to drop once, then I got into a Genkai/Level Up PT after I had finished and 2 exorays dropped in succession in 30 minutes...I guess it's truly a mater of chance...
