fire day is better for hunting, but also, if u kept hunting weaker leeches, drop rate would be bad. just like other items, weak monsters (compared to ur lvl) don't drop items too often. if u havent got the item yet, try to hunt one in new area. ive heard drop rate in new area was pretty good
