Hey i used to play FFXI a 18SMN/9WHM i think i used to play WoW like crazy but dew the the expansion i just couldt be botherd to lvl used to be a tier 2.5 Hunter . I have FFXI on my 360 and some friends play it were all FF fantcs n e way heres my questions:

1. Whats the PvP system like is there decent rewards for doing it like there is on WoW as i'am really a PvP man but i do like PvE if i'am with say 10+ people?

2. When does the game really kick off? e.g. on WoW its around like 25+

3. I'am on the server Ragnarok is that a huge friendly PvE/PvP server?

4. How Does PvP work is it cross server what?

5. How does PvE work u , do go though a portally thingy into a unique dungeon?

6. Is the SMN class decent to play and fun?

7. How much PvE is there and are they always adding to it?

8. Does the PvP system change alot or is it been the same since the start?

9. Is PvP popular?

10. What lvls do you really start doing PvP to a decent standard?

PVP: There's Ballista and Brenner, but they're more like sports/minigames than full PvP

50, if you have a decent LS. Otherwise, 75.

All the servers are the same.

You go out and you kill things. See Assault, Dynamis, Limbus, ENM, and BCNM on ffxiclopedia.

The basic system is the same, although it's tweaked constantly to try to make it more fair.

Not really, but if you play on or near JP time there's usually enough people on for a good Ballista match.

Just a bit of advice, you seem very focused on PvP. FFXI is not the game for you. Playing FFXI for the PvP would be like playing WoW for the storyline and community. It exists, but it's nowhere near good enough or widespread enough to base your entire gametime on.

mm... thank you for replying and yes i'am a big PvPer but i've never really had huge experience of PvE and big storylines to me WoW does have some form of lure mainly cause i played all the games b4 Warcraft 1 and up and yes ty wiki thinygs i'll ave a look ty

actually yeh i'll think i'll return i can handle lvling and PvP pff PvP some of that PvE stuff looks great most of that stuff i never knew i knew about BCNM mm... i'll think i'll give it a try for 1 month or more maybes ty mini man
