Hey, if they are still doing this, I'm just now installing FFXI. I'm not completely new, as I used to play last year, but only for around 4 months. It was also on a diff system, but like yeah.. Apparently, you can get a Guide cap and a Onion cap or something. It seems fun. Plus you get bonus items for me sticking around.

Anyone want to hook me up with one?

I could later tonight. I'm on the Kujata server, and have a good friendly social LS, but I play weird hours. I work 3:30-midnight Pacific, I could hook you up with one when I get home.

I hear you on those hours man, I'm off of thirds though. I'm working usually 6am-4:30pm, Mon-Fry. Sat is 6-3:30. (but we don't always have to work Sat)

So yeah... We wouldn't be able to play. @-@

Wait...people get Gold World Passes to play together? And here I thought it was just for the items! o.O

My LS is active just about 24-7 though. Iunno, if you're interested I'm game. If not, your loss!

Well the items you get are only worth it if you play together. But like, if that doesn't bother you, then lets do it man. I'm still updating right now though.

World passes have been taken away from the game, so I don't think this quest exists anymore.

Yeah, but you get more than the sprout & guide berets, at like 90 days, and beyond.

I'll drop you a PM when I get off work with a Gold Pass number. If you wanna use it, cool! If not, enjoy whatever server you go to!

World passes have been taken away from the game, so I don't think this quest exists anymore.

World passes HAVE been eliminated, however Gold World passes HAVE NOT been eliminated (source: http://www.playonline.com/pcd/topics...20/detail.html, near the bottom).

You're a veteran player man. You should have KNOWN to break out the ol' copy of War & Peace for a re-read while downloading patches.

EDIT: So since you're still obviously watching this thread, what's your game background (jobs, nations, missions, etc.)? Why'd you quit? Why'd you come back? Any hot sisters/daughters? Pics?
