I quit around August of 2005, mainly due to a problem with my computer that I couldn't resolve. School also was beginning at that time, so I figured to stop right there. But I've got rid of the problem, and I might just come back within the next day or two. A few questions, if you will.
( Don't worry, I know the prices of good gear is equal to the United States trade deficit )

How are the dunes and Qufim? Still people partying there? Still a lot of PL parties? I figured it would be good to come back now, rather than at the start of the Xbox launch...to possibly avoid the possible influx of new players. If you've been here recently, did you receive any hell? (Because the 'Dunes just plain suck.)

People still hang around in the starting cities, correct? This is my biggest fear.
I hathehahthathhtheheahthatehhth hate hate HATE it when I come back or join a new MMORPG and the cities are dead because everyone hangs out at most convient place possible ( In this case Jeuno, but that's been the nest of High Levels ever since time began )

How is the Japanese population on [insert server]? Do they still play? Are they still the HNM leaders? Has the N.A playerbase taken the throne of the HNMLS King?

theres plenty enough people in he starting cities. dunes is... a *little* rough, but you'll make it through. Seek pt in dunes on a weekend, and you'll be just fine. there's a lot of plling in the dunes, but not too too much after.

the biggest problem just starting tou is the economy, which yo said you are aware of. everything else seems to be doing more or less ok right now.

edit: btw, i love your main/sub job levels. how's that blue mage working out for ya?

It was a bit tricky to get ahold of the new jobs, but after getting used to the playing styles, they were friggin pwnage. If I say too much SE sends attack dogs after me :/
