I play on the 360, so I don't use any. And when I played on PC, I only used basic Windower for Alt-Tab, and Brandson's UI .dats.

Though I did like having the EXP/Hour calculator too. I was kind of obsessive about it.

Much like .dat swapping, once you become a plugin whore you can't stop. I'm probably the biggest offender here, and I don't even care anymore. So much of this shit should already be in the game.
Me and you seem to have alot of the same plugins. You got like 2 more I think.. Damn you win.

Edit: I don't have cancel and lightluggage. adding the second in now though..

Counts down until your next MP tick. That way I can know when I will be getting a full tick and stand up accordingly, instead of watching my MP bar like a hawk. If I know I've got 9 seconds, I can watch the chat log for a bit.

Also, the newest Silence fixes the "You were unable to change your equipped items" lines that pop up mostly in Salvage when you're butt naked.

Pff, who needs plugins when turning thrice widdershins while rubbing your belly in a counterclockwise fashion and placing the tip of your finger on the tip of your nose let's you move at 5x chocobo speeds?

Unfortunately this only works while you are turning, so you only really turn at 5x chocobo speeds. But since the turn rate for chocobos is the same as the turn rate for everyone else, you really only turn at the same speed as normal.

Yeah... It's one of those late nights studying and I don't think I'm quite sane anymore.

OMG I forgot about DrawDistance and IME.

Curse you TM! You want to make me a cheater too!

So my interest is raising... will probably go with DrawDistance, IME and that Macro one if I finally decide to download it. Of course that would also require for me to ask for a PM with the link and stuff *hint hint* :3

Since I'm too lazy to look for it myself. d(^^d)

I used to use IME but I don't like having half my system decide it wants to be in Japanese.

The main ones I use are Distance (useful for every job), Draw Distance (makes some nice screenshots), Recast, Yarnball, LightLuggage, expwatch, and Time Stamp.

I don't use 3rd party tools personally, but I know this guy who uses:

    ChatMon (Audibles for buffs wearing)
Distance (Godly for Bard, or so I hear)
    Recast
    Yarnball

    Lesser or occasional use:

    TParty
LightLuggage (for the autolots and passing on non-seals during XP)
    TimeStamp (for camping Pop times)
    InfoBar (very nice)
    ExpWatch
    BlinkMeNot (still not working)

    Um... Firefox?

I use to to get info I can't get in-game. Don't know how to play FFXI w/out it.

That may be true. One thing they absolutely can do is read your log files, but I wonder if they can tell what your client type is since I've heard of PS2 users getting banned for fleetool and such. Nonetheless, I avoid using TimeStamp for similar reasons despite the obvious convenience.

I think the usefulness of learning to use IME and communicate in Japanese is worth the ban risk to me.

All of the above except the IME. I've heard that using the IME to display JP characters on an english client maybe dangerous because otherwise there is no way for the english client to output japanese, leading to the assumption that an english player typing in japanese is probably doing something against the ToS. Your call though.

Also, I use the recast plugin which is amazing.
