You wont get banned for doing this or using windower. Especially not now, FFXI is the only major MMO that doesn't support any addons/mods natively, they actually NEED things like windower to stay competitive, tons of people wouldn't even play this game if it wasn't for windower so lets drop the bullshit we all use it and SE knows it. You think they can't notice your character pulling off 20-string equipment macros instantly? LOL.
All a GM needs to do is hang around a merit camp for *five* minutes to figure out 90% of the players are using windower. If they banned for this then you all would have been banned long ago.
People who claim they have been banned because of windower are simply bullshiting, they are the type that uses actual teleport hacks to exploit the game and then try to minimize what they did by saying windower is all they used.
