Hi,
I calibrated my LCD monitor to match the RGB color standard (optimal settings for backlight, brightness, RGB gamma, colors, etc.) and the results have been saved in a custom icc monitor profile (this is the same as a custom monitor driver that can be choose in the color management section of the desktop display properties).
What I found is that when I play FFXI in windowed mode, the game respects the settings of my icc monitor profile and everything look find.
However, when I play FFXI in full screen mode, the game completely ignores the icc profile settings and cranks up the RGB gamma and uses a washed out color palette.
I would like to know if there is a setting so that in full screen mode, the game respects my icc monitor profile. I prefer playing the game in full screen mode because it has less tearing (even though I forced the vsync on, which does not seem to do anything good, because my monitor refresh rate is fixed at 60 Hz).
Also, I'd like to know if there is a setting to set the refresh rate to match my monitor native refresh rate (60Hz)?
Thank you in advance
