  • friends macro books glitching, any ideas?

A friend of mine is having this really weird problem with his macro books. Basically, every time he zone's, it switches his current Macro book back to Book 1, regardless of what Macro book he's currently got selected. The macro's themselves are fine, it doesn't re-arrange them or anything, it just auto swaps the book back to his THF palette, which is book 1. So everytime he zones, he needs to go back an reselect the appropriate book for his job, which is obviously irritating. He's been through anything in the config that may relate, and nothing seems to keep it from happening.

Any idea's what could be causing this weird problem, and/or suggestions how to fix? Thanks in advance...

Hmmm...interesting. I once had an issue where my macros would revert to the original ones (Help <t> is chasing me!). I can imagine that it is annoying as hell for your friend though. When I switch a job and I forget to change my macro pallete it annoys me when I go to do a spell or something and I realize I'm on the wrong one. I wish I had some suggestions. My issue with my macros changing happened once a week for a few months and then just stopped. We tried everything, including reinstalling, and nothing helped.
