I bought FFXI for my friend awhile ago. I went over to her house today to help set it up, and all went well, but when we tried to register with PlayOnline, we hit a snag. Theres 6 boxes instead of 5 for the registration code, and it says that the code needs to be 20 characters long. Well, the code IS 20 characters long. Theres just too many boxes. When we called her older brother, who has played FFXI before, he didn't know what to do either, but he said whatever you do don't close PlayOnline yet because the next time we try it will reject the code. (That doesn't sound very logical to me, but it still scares me cus I don't want to have wasted $20 for nothing.)
I'm sorry if this is a really common problem. I've never played FFXI before and my friend is too forum-shy to post on her own. Can anybody help us out here?

Maybe once you type it in it will spread out to fill all the boxes... Not sure really, I don't remember encountering this problem.
