Error Code 2003: Failed to Read Data

I keep getting this error whenever I try to enter the game.. I've uninstalled and reinstalled twice now, both times with no anti-virus software running.

Would the fact that I haven't installed Rise of the Zilart have anything to do with it?

run a check disk on your hard drive -- maybe your hard drive has bad sectors
