Logging in to playonline viewer problem!

I have the game on x box 360 and whenever i try to log in to playonline viewer it says that i cannot log in because i have not enabled chatting and messaging. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

did you check your manual? seems like the first place to go.

Ive read through it but it doesnt say anything about allowing chatting and messaging, although when im not on FFX1 i can message and chat to people freely.
