Hello everyone!
I want to start off by saying sorry if this is posted somewhere already... I'm extremely tired and don't have the focus, mind power, or alertness to look through the search function right now... but I want to get this question out there to allow more time for it to be answered. ^^
Okay! The problem is, my sister just got FFXI, for the expansions and such. But a little background story, her friend got FFXI and gave her the guest code. So she downloaded FFXI from the main site, which doesn't include the expansions. So she's able to play the basic game right now.
Anyway, when she plays the FXI discs into her computer it won't read them. She's try both her DVD drive and her CD drive.. neither work! Her computer guy who usually fixes her computer hasn't been really responsive lately so we have no idea when he'll return her call. So I wanted to see if there was something we could do on our own.
Is there maybe some sort of option we could change on her computer to get it to work?
Or would it be possible for me to like zip my FFXI stuff and send it to her? And she could use her codes for her own account that way?
Or is there something that I'm completely not thinking of?
