Questions regarding - Credit card, Content IDs and reg codes

So i just got FFXI Online - The Vana'diel Collection

I have made a playonline profile, i added my credit card. Now my first question

How do i remove the credit card (payment method), it kinda bothers me that i dont know how to remove my credit card information.. Its just important to me, that i know how to remove that piece of information if i ever wanted too.

And the second question - I thought reg codes were Content IDs, but i guess i was wrong, what am i actually paying for here? The content IDs or the PlayOnline service?

Since i got ffxi and 2 expansions, thats 3 IDs? I have to pay extra per ID? And how much do they cost?

And lets say i dont have IDs at all, do i pay for something at all then? Or is the credit card just there so i can purchase different IDs?

Btw im on a PC Version

the content ids allow you to make a character. that is what you are paying for.

the reg codes unlock the content (expansion areas, jobs, etc) for your character. you enter them in under expanded services (look at manual).

your first content id (and thus first character) is $12.95/month. each additional content id is +$1/month.

as for removing CC info, I'm not in game so I can't tell you, but there should be a menu somewhere for it. again, check the manual.

IF you read the disclaimers while setting up your POL account you would have noticed that if you remove the payment options from your Free POL accoun it will instantly close the POL account.

You have to keep the payment information on your POL ID or they just close it. Sad, but true.
