Im wondering if i can play this from any country, a friend read in some forum that ppl need an U.S. address to register an account, is that true? >_>

Erm, since i posted this in the wrong section here it goes >.>: Im from brazil and am thinking of buying this game, but a friend read that ppl need an U.S. address to register an account, i doubt thats true but can someone clarify this for me? thanks

Edit: well ppl do sell the game here, if i couldnt play it from here why would they bother to sell it, but still i need to make sure <.<. It'd be really ridiculous if i can't play this just because im not from U.S. and since theres a vast number of final fantasy fans in my country.

If you buy the North American version then that's probably true. If you live in Europe buy the European version.

I am pretty sure all you need is a credit card or other account number of some sort to play....someone correct me if i am wrong though.

I don't think it's that hard to make up a North American adress... I mean, I'd think you can "People Search" almost any random name and get a street number. and if you need a Postal Code (if TV has taught me anything it's that) Beverly Hills has "90210".

Cool thanks for the help, i'll just try that then and if it doesnt work its just 500 bucks down the hole when i buy it -_-. well i dunno a thing about playonline, u never know if they'll put it as a rule that you MUST live in U.S. to play it and put some kind of address confirmation process >_>, im from brazil btw. Anyways i just want to make sure it'll work cause thats a hell lot of money.
