I wish Cid was joking, but I've seen people go nuts fishing and completely insane with the carp thing.

No, seriously, they are a nice person one moment and then they decide to get the rod (which should be renamed Lunacy Rod me thinks.) Next thing you know they can't talk or think or do anything that isn't carps. Camping the AH for hours and days, fishing every single moment they are online, and talking of nothing but their current carp count. It's madness.



And no, I'm not joking, it is all a true story. <_<

How do you know these things? You weren't even on the same server when I was doing that quest...

I've noticed that I never saved my old macros to POL before I restored and then sold my old laptop/replaced my desktop. I'm now stuck with the macros I had saved to POL from... 2 years ago... before the jump to 99.

Spectacular.

Now I have to re-write all my gear-swapping macros for all 5 of my jobs. Good thing I had a lot of them saved in Notepad for just such an emergency. I just have to motivate myself to write them over 1 at a time.

I might just re-work them all in light of this. I'd been meaning to edit a lot of them anyway and this gives me just the excuse I needed to start from scratch.

Here we go. See you all in 5 hours at the end of the week. There's a lot to do, damn it.

I quit fishing around 13 or so.
I was pretty hyped about it at first but skill ups seemed even slower than people told me they would be.

I even got the GoV casket items…now they are collecting dust.

Maybe one day I’ll pick it back up.

Impossible.

If you're going to fish the only question is how deranged you become, not if. Anyone who attempts completes the Lu Shang's quest is borderline psychotic.

Getting a Lu Shang's rod is pretty much required if you plan to get seriously involved with fishing. So you see...fishermen are crazy people.
