    whats the best duo team for NM?

    hey can anyone give me any good ideas for NM hunting as a Duo? me and my friend want to know because were not to sure. Were both restarting FFXI in a few weeks after quiting for a couple months and we heard that theres no other way to make gil now that the economy in-game is messed up and the GM's are banning everyone for farming and stuff. If anyone could provide me with ideas that would be great!! thanks

    >_> Uhh... This logic makes no sense. Why would you join a game to kill NMs for drops if you think the GMs are banning people from farming? Are you trying to get banned?

    Anyways, who is spreading this nonsense about not being able to farm to make gil, Brosale?

      uhm, what kind of NM's are you looking to fight? There's a ton of NM's in the game and this question is a bit too vague.

      If you truly believe this, FFXI is not the game for you. There's plenty of ways to make money in this game. The people you heard from don't know how to, apparently.

        me and my friend mainly just want to know what would make a good duo for killing NM's at the higher levels when were both level 75. We just need a basic idea because were not to sure since we havent played in awhile. we just want to duo NM for fun and to see if we can but we don't like Bst,Smn,and Nin. Its really not even about the gil btw we just want to see what we can do.

          RDM, THF, and probably DNC. If it is as you say, and it's not about the money.... I have a feeling it's gonna be about the money though.

            You're still not being specific enough. Are you looking to go after NMs that have money drops, or gear drops? Remember a lot of NMs that used to drop expensive gear now only drop the r/ex versions of said gear, so it cant really be sold. Any other NMs that drop noteworthy stuff cant really be duoed since they require a bit more man power.

              Thank you for your rdm, thf suggestion.

              I'm just going to be hunting NM for fun with my friend and would like to know what job's can duo some of the NM's. I can't really be anymore specific. Sorry.

                DNC + THF has worked pretty well for me and a friend. We essentially just blink tank the thing but he has the Treasure Hunter and I have the Curing Waltz. It really just depends on which NM's you decide to pursue as some mobs a THF + DNC would be a horrible setup for if you don't want the mob to WS you into next week. But if you want drops to um... actually drop... I suggest at least planning on 75 THF.

                We had a place that really really really worked well for THF+DNC+BRDorRDM farming gil and scrolls.

                THF for blink-tank/Treasure Hunter
                DNC for healing/wtf moments
                BRD/RDM for sleeping pops and adds

                I couldn't tell you where it is cuz the Mithra Mafia would have me swimming with the rusty buckets before I could even... . .
