ach well, it all downloaded somehow, still dunno why file check found 20,000 then only downloaded 14,000 but ok :p, ive got the game thats the main thing!

File check is just that, a file check. It's checking the versions of the files that are existing on your machine. It then just downloads what has been updated.

it gives an estimated time on how long it will take on pc.
for a complete reinstall after reformatting my comp "if you read my pet peeve"
it took just under an hour for the game to be bougt up to date and I am missing treasures and wotg expansions.

I don't have an incredible pc or a super fast connection "not sure on broadband connection" but it only took my an hour at most. I think the slowest thing below me would be dial up.
