Garrison Solo?

I just curious if it is possible to solo a garrison. Does anyone know of anyone soloing a garrison?

Doing the North Gustaberg level 20 Garrison, I remember making it to the third wave as a blm/rdm using sleep to rest to full before each wave. I was obliterated at the third wave because I couldnt get sleep to stick for a long enough period of time to get anything useful done.

I wonder with the addition of NPC helpers, is it possible to solo now?

Lord I hope not! We had 5 members with two RDMs and got wiped there on the last wave...

Somehow still got drops though.... Mannequinne yes! Maybe one guy lived...

I didn't think it was even possible to use Sleep as a crowd control measure in Garrison. Don't the Garrison NPCs tend to randomly attack whatever they want to?

Are you allowed to use your NPC Fellow or is there something to keep you from using them like the escort missions?

I havent participated in a since the NPC were added. The NPC's just attack the closest mob or is it really random?

I have seen someone pull a mob far away from the outpost and sleep it. I didnt stick around to see the outcome, but I assume they did it to do the "sleep it until everyone is ready for the next wave" method.

I am thinking of trying to solo it again. I was thinking a BLU, PLD, or PUP might be able to solo a level 20 one. BLU because of the nice low level spells he has like sheep song as crowd control, PLD because of his ability to mitigate damage but still do decent damage at level 20, or PUP because the doll has the potential to either solo or keep an mob occupied. My current thinking would be to attack whatever the NPC helper attacks and sleep/bind the rest as BLU/PLD or BLU/WAR(I was thinking these two subs because of the defense bonus they give). As PLD/BLU just attack whatever the NPC attacks and just survive through food/drink/potion. As PUP, I dont know yet. I need to do some research to see if it is possible.

If I recall correctly, the mobs drop mannequinne pieces during the fight progress. At completion is when things like Garrison armor is given.

Its been a long time but I think a friend and myself doued the Saruta Garrison when it was first introduced. We won once out of like 4+ tries over a month of time. He went as Paladin, I went as Summoner using Ramuh. I pretty much got the luckiest lightning day Thunderspark and 2hr ever, died anyway and he grinded out the last part.

Whether its repeatable with an NPC in tank mode I don't know. Or if there is a consumable avaliable to you that we didnt have at the time (we only used food\juice).

NPCs can't be used and I doubt soloing it would be worth it seeing as your rewards are based on how many NPCs are left alive. And the Wave 4 NM usually takes out quite a few of them without proper healing.
