        I'm in the UK but play the US version so it always takes a few days to get it for me.

          We won't be able to just download it?! That sux... So, we'll have to buy an actual disk from a game store? For what? To upload the info to our HDs? Can't we just do the same if we just downloaded it into our HDs? This sux...

            How did you think you were going to get it?

            Hint: How did you get the game and other 3 expansions.

              Well, they all came on one disk. We'd buy a whole new disk just for an expansion? You should be able to download that through Microsoft Marketplace... Or, will the new disk be the play disk you put in your 360 with all previous expansions on it?

                Are you really that dense?

                Did you download the original game? No you got a disk and installed it. Are you going to download Wings? No you're going to get a disk and install it.

                They came one one disk as a convenience, there will be a Vana'diel Collection 2008 that has everything one one disk but for those who have the game installed already installed they will just buy the Wings expansion.

                Bonus Points: The filesystem layout on the Collection DVD just has what was once individual CD's under directories on a DVD. The 2008 collection will just have another directory over the 2007 collection that will be the Wings install.

                  Sorry but then you'd have no code to acivate wings...plus the rest of us had to buy disks the last two times...so what makes you so special?

                  Back on Topic:

                  I already preorded Wings from EB games online. I have no idea if I'll have it on launch day but the reason I did it is that I've always played the PS2 edition and I was afraid if I did not preorder the darn thing I would not get one! TAOU was a mess to get and I just didn't wana have to track one down...

                    The EB games in my area normally doesn't stock FFXI or the expansions there but since the new manager plays FFXI on 360 and PC they ordered 3 boxes of the expansion 1 for each platform but i'll prolly only get a copy for 360.

                    De-rail: if i have the content for the 360 but would like a backup copy of the PC version and i can get a ISO file of it from my cousin is it considered pirating?

                            Play-asia.com is taking pre-orders. One question real quick, all my versions are EU for FFXI, if I get wotg from an american site (So US version) is it going to make a difference to me?

                                yes you would be because your client has to match your region...and so do the codes you put in to activate the expansions...
