    What I mean is say San d'Oria has an order for darksteel coming in from Bastok every other week. Well, what if one week during the delivery the convey got ambushed by Orcs? It would be cool if you could go out and save them or what have you... or hell, if adventurers could apply to be an escort at Bastok on the day the shipment goes out. At the end you would be paid based on the results.
    Now that would be fun.

      I think it would be nice if they used some more classic FF elements...


      Like cheap, effective potions ffs. A WHM should be treated as a support class: Not necessary for EXP, but can sure as hell help out and make things go faster.

      I really dislike requiring a healing job present. They should be invited to make PTs go faster in the same fashion as a BRD or COR, not be absolutely freaking required. If a party of all DD could grab some cheap potions (good old 100 gil x99 potions, how I miss thee) and still go out for good exp that'd be way more fun. Maybe add a WHM to the party later to speed things up (since cures are generally more potent than potions) rather than be necessary.


      Sure WHM's invite rates would be down, but at the same time all those poor DD's sitting around screwed can now gather together and go on a killing frenzy instead of praying a tank or healer shows up...

        lol, that made me remember how I played FF1 way back. I played it through with 4 Fighters, and just kept a max amount of potions in my inventory.

        Imagine a 4 WAR/NIN spampage party where the players are constantly using potions. It's kind of a funny thought.

          Thankfully, game designers are a little more level headed.

          My one wish if they made another FF mmo? Now I mean this without any sarcasm, no one here has a hand in designing it.

            Well, as you get higher and higher up you'll need the better (and more expensive) potions to keep up, so a WHM will become more and more necessary. I just don't agree with the idea of needing a healer (or a tank) at all times in nearly every situation.


            I think it's a crime that you can't just scrap together any combination of jobs (that goes for subjobs too, damn the restrictions set in place. I loved the way it worked in FFV/FFT so much more) and go out and EXP.

            Obviously certain set ups (like a traditional PT) would work better in most situations, but that shouldn't be the only option available to us for the majority of the game.


            Non-existant my ass. You can't make it through some of the previous entries without at least one healer. I'm just saying it shouldn't be mandatory in every imaginable situation.

              1. Good graphics, like graphics equivalent to games on the 360, ps3, PC etc.

              2. Like you said, a zonless world, it would make the experience more realistic.

              3. I want to see more storyline and mission quests, and also have the quests and mission give ALOT more when you finish them then it does now. Basically right now most missions are either just to gain rank or hear a story. They should give, money and alot of experience.

              4. I dont think just a remake of vanadeiel with all the same cities etc would be a good thing. It would get pretty boring seeing the same game just better graphics. They should make a new world and link it with vanadiel's past and storyline. So maybe a story could be, another crystal war happened in Vanadiel and it forced many of the survivors off vanadiel and onto the neighboring world of _____. So all the same 5 races will be availible and even more.

              5. Like you said again, bigger more realistic cities.

              6. Oh and this should definatly be fixed, it always bugs me the most about ffxi, where you can go and where you can step is severely limited. If i want to try and climb that big mountain over there I should be able to, not have to be stopped when i barely even get close. This would probably be fixed or helped if they added jump. Also make buildings more acessable, like those windmills or those little huts in konchat and bastok, I want to be able to climb up those and look into the distance if i wanted. So I guess climb would be a good idea. Also adding onto that would be swimming.

              7. They should also make how far you can see off in the distance unlimited if you want to set it to that, this make the game more realistic and just cooler lol.
              8. Make soloing more of a reasonable possibility.

              9. Make transportation more availible, maybe a new form of transport oh, or just for looks but different mounts other than chocobo's. Like chocobo's would be the main ones but maybe they could have a swimming one that you could use instead of going across the sea by boat etc.

              Hmmm other than that, lol i dont know, maybe some more jobs or, even better, jobs after advance jobs, like once you get to 75 you ca unlock sage or something cheep like that, buy maybe they would be conditional like you can unlock sage but u can only use the job in certain places, etc, since something like sage would be pretty cheep.

                Because in each instance where keyboard or voicechat options are given, people start forming little "voice chat only" groups. Just try it in any FPS, some people won't let you join a particular hosted game if you use a keyboard and will kick you for trying to play.

                It should be all voice or all keyboard, never both.

                Voice chat still doesn't seem all that practical for MMORPGs at the moment, anyway. Just imagine the strain it would put on servers designated for that.
                That would indeed be really lame...

                  OK, I'll admit they'd also just kick me for winning with the throwing knives. Its embarassing to have somone win the best of 30 three times in a row with no gun in an FPS.

                    I know I personally hate voice chat with a passion.

                    But then I also fear telephones.


                    I can't even hold a reasonable conversation with close relatives over copper wires, it just bugs the crap out of me.
