thats nice and all ;p but I think its safe for me to say, thats one item, I dont really care about. Its a god wonderful head piece.... but not even going to try and get it, DRG and one other job to 75 will make me happy enough ;p

The offering is just part of Maat's text, he really does not offer you those things, there is no menu to actually ask for that stuff, its just his trying to get the player to want something else then to just take off his hat ;p

Just thinking it would be funny if, after all this hubbus, above and beyond not actually getting the option to TAKE kclub or riddle, the movie was edited ANYWAY.

Why on earth would you think it was edited? That's the standard Maat's cap cutscene. You don't actually get a choice. It's just flavor text.

You'd only see <Item Paramater 0> etc - typically that green text is passed as an item ID and that's not in the dialog tables but in the game code (so that if they rename Kraken Club to Noob Toothpick they only need to change the name once without having to dig up all references to it in the dialogs).
In any case, I have no reason to assume the text isn't as shown.

thats the problem with forums and other "text" based communication, people forget that you really cant tell sarcasm or joking, unless its hinted at with a "lol" or ah "haha" or something along those lines.....
