There are already too many Sephiroths in FFXI.

No, it would not be cool if Sephiroth appears in FFXI. Nomura isn't on the dev team, right!?

And I bet that, before the Crystal War, the Dunes was a paradise, where none of the mobs aggro and there are Home Point crysals every five yards.

    Fenrir and his lunarness.

Though I wont spoil anything, Fenrir is/was a large part of the Crystal War. I can't remember the character who summoned him, but I really like the plot arch they've laid out for him so far, it seemed so genuine.

If SE brought Sephiroth into FFXI, I'd quit. Hm, i've already done that. yeah, i'd SUPER QUIT.

Far more likely than that, it's a comet that was being summoned by those tarus in the opening CS, although I think it's more likely to be something we don't know about yet, like a beastman weapon or possibly an effect of the lightbringer.

What I'm most interested in is the announcement of character transfers. I can transfer off Phoenix to play with my RL friends on Kujata now. Great, because I tried doing the grind again from scratch and burned out before hitting level 12.

what if it was the comet from ffvii(remember separoth and his comet). It would be cool if separoth had been able to go back to the ffvii time and creat havoc. I know it would deviate a little from the current game but would be interesting to take on Seph. again(this time as our current chars)

I was thinking that using memories would probably be how they would go back in time(even though I don't understand how changing memories will save anybody or anything)

A good idea for an end point could be that after a certain mission is complete the game would end by having the player see himself wake up in the real world and find out the game was a big dream.

I'm hoping you're referring to the older usage of the phrase.

Would be interesting to see the Galkan city in Althepa...

    hmm
Older Galkas sipping tea talking about their younger days.
    Younger Galkas running and playing.
    Teenager Galkas making love.

Shantotto wins by merit of actually being a part of this particular FF-verse. So she's got my vote for that reason alone. Also, because she told me it would get real ugly if I didn't vote for her.

    Shantotto?
Or Kefka. He's crazier than both of them, though Shantotto could give him a run for his money on laughing

Yah I haven't finished any of the expansions yet...=/

But they should really make Vana'diel, the same zones--everything! Just all in the past. It'd be cool seing what was ruins, strong buildings. And also just being there the time of the crystal wars ^^ I wonder if they would have just groups of armies fighting as you go to, say jeuno, on your chocobo. That would be pretty cool!

One thing I forgot to mention earlier, we have to get more Cornelia cutscenes!
That's my thought too, assuming again that it will be time travel.

Basically, if you've ever seen the movie Millennium, that's probably how this will be set up: We do something in the past, we just haven't done it yet from our perspective. Then, after what's done is done, we resume life in our *normal* timeline. It's actually a very interesting concept to explore.

I think they need a PC Graphics engine upgrade and then port it to PS/3. UO for sure and maybe Everquest had tiered graphics engines that allowed people with different technologies to make the most of that without compromising playability for the lower end users (PS/2 and Older PC). New, alternate graphics engine with higher grade models and textures. I'm not complaining necessarily, because even though WoW is newer, it still looks.... much much crappier.

But what's gonna happen story wise o. O this is the reason I hate time travel. What impact will our going back in time have? And will the dunes be an even greater hell during the war era!?
