Mistake on the GM part.
Basically... someone called a GM to ask to migrate to his GF's server. The GM told the player that they couldn't simply change them.
Then the GM told the player to check the POL viewer, playonling.com, and ffxi.com.
The player then asked, "ffxi.com... isn't that an IGE website?"
GM replies, "Ouch, that's true. I'm sorry. Well, just check the POL viewer and playonline.com then."

Landisl is an idiot. I got him when my account got ganked. He was also the infamous GM who was going to put a bst in jail for "holding" an antlion at Tiamat. The bst was using it as a pet.

Yeah, the GM was stupid. But is he advertising for IGE? No. This thread is about advertising for IGE, which isn't happening in the game, as the OP suggests.
