    Re: About Elitists

Elitism exists everywhere. If they didn't, gil/gold/virtual currency sellers wouldn't be in business, would they?

With that said, the games are all for enjoyment and entertainment. Please don't take it any more seriously than that huge college loan you will have to pay for or about the spouse that left you because you stopped paying attention to him/her and all of that sort of thing.

You're probably right. He of the questionable humor and pushing the envelope-ness.

He even tried to over Ventrillo, and I was like "Dude. If you weren't going to get a giggle in game, you're never going to get one over vent."

Yeah I am just curious as to WHO did that - though I have my suspicions.

I think it's a reference to U.S. TV commercials from Pillsbury, hocking packaged premade bakery dough. In those advertisements, there is this creepy looking little "dough boy" which would giggle if poked in the stomach.

"Dough boy" is round around the tummy area, not unlike your local Tarutarus. Fortunately, Tarutarus are a lot cuter.

Kirsteena knows what I'm talking about.
You have no idea how often my finger has hovered over the "kick" button with that individual... I have never known anything so annoying.

And who the hell with the taru tummy???

Anyway, vaguely back on track, my ls isn't so bad with the 1337sp3akers, partly because we have so many non-native English speakers, though that does lead to other issues. My personal hatred is "wat" and "wut" (used everyday, not in the poking fun kind of way).

    ><;

There was a guy in my LS who insisted that one day I would giggle when he poked my taru tummy. It never happened. I realize that's not what you mean, but still.

I don't know why anyone would mistake me for a giggler.

Edit > Ok I made that up, but that's the point of all these posts of mine.

I dunno... If I have to choose between a SMN with Pokemon macro and another with "Awake! My Icy Princess of DEATH!!! <call>", it'd be very difficult.

Maybe I'll just invite the lonely looking PUP to party, instead? Should be easy enough to bully him into using no /p and no /say in any macro...

I actually put the 1337sp3akers in the same realm of strangeness as the roleplayer... or the SMN that has Pokemon macros.

And there's a SMN on every server that does this, they should die painfully for doing so, especially if they do it in /say.

Actually I did, in my post just above yours.
And I have seen it used when someone legitimately used it as normal speech. I actually think I've had two different people in random pickup parties that used it religiously. I suppose they may have been making fun of it, but if they did, then they didn't bother telling anyone else about the joke. It just made them look annoying, really.

No. I just mentioned it. Any other meanings were totally inferred on your part.

I've seen the punctuation you're talking about lol
lol it tends to get on my nerves too lol
lol some people just don't seem to even know they are doing it lol

My friends and I used to use lih (laughing in head) between ourselves because we honestly weren't lolin'. However, if you say lih or lqtm to someone you'll get the internet equavalent of a vacant stare.

I often use lol as a place-filler. Someone who isn't amusing says something to you that's amusing only to them so you give them the pity lol.
