Re: If you could add one thing...
Pheonix Downs
I remember getting a Revival Root in beta thinking it would Raise a party member. lol We have items that do everything else, why not this?
And no, I'm not asking for R3, but a Phoenix Down in the Dunes would be really nice.

Don't you mean... Ultima? And the spell Omega. Make it as flashy and useless as Holy, as long as its flashy. I want it to look like the world is coming to an end when I cast it.

Re: If you could add one thing...
I would love for it to be that easy to find people for Assault. Everyone in my LS talks about doing them, but that's as far as it ever goes (or the people who are doing them are in a static and have no interest in doing them with anyone else - which is totally fair).
I don't have any fresh ideas right now, but I'll try and think of something.

If you could add one thing...
I posted this on KI already. Didn't feel like typing it up.One job ability, one HNM, one system of HNMs, one type of PvP... revamp of the Mog House system, party system, set of armor, ect ect. The only thing that is forbidden is new race or job. Have fun.
Personally, I would like if SE added a Mecernary search NPC system. Maybe a Galka, near the entrance. You sign up for it, costs maybe a Bronze Coin. Your current rank is recorded. You specify which zones you are interested in and/or if you are interested in ranking up. It would be optional to set your 'demand' for Assaults, "Don't bother me if I'm in an experience points party", "Don't bother me if I'm in an LS event"(or whatever SE likes to call LS events). Finally they can list what level ranges they are interested in doing.
Anyone talking to the NPC can do a search. They describe the condition of their search: rank, level range, and/or area. [Examples: Can look for all areas, but of one rank, or one area of one rank, but hopefully at level 40]. It will then give you a list of players who meet these requirements, some of the information above, and all their jobs that meet the level range you listed. It would show if they are in a party or not and their choices for the "demand" option.
A lot of people who want to be higher rank, for storyline or just fun reasons, but can't because people tend to be little cockblockers wanting only to merit and sky/hnm. I really feel for those people, too bad SE doesn't ;o.
It might be a good idea to aim for ideas that'd make the game better and more enjoyable, but I wouldn't want to limit anyone's creativity.
