I have been working on getting the optimal ATT vs. ACC setup recently, and have come across some talk online about an ATT Cap. As a result I am alittle confused, I thought is was as simple as 2STR=1ATT but sounds like that is only true below the ATT cap? Can anyone clarify this?

Re: Optimizing STR and ATT
There indeed is ATK cap which is determined on mob-to-mob basis. In other words, there's a certain amount of ATK at which PDIF reaches its max, and any more ATK won't contribute to the final damage output at that point. Likewise, STR has its own cap as explained by fSTR.Originally posted by Greylynx View PostI have been working on getting the optimal ATT vs. ACC setup recently, and have come across some talk online about an ATT Cap. However, when you're fighting IT's and even VT's, you won't reach such a cap by equipments. If you have 2 BRD's singing 4 Minuets onto you and you eat ATK foods, maybe. But obviously there's more you need to worry about in that case. Thus, there's never having too much ATK nor STR as long as you're fighting higher lvl mobs.
For detailed information on how this damage output works, look here.
As for STR not giving ATK increase beyond certain point, I believe that's false.
