Party leaders that have no idea what to do or wear to go.

Leveling war I seek as /sam and have in my /seacom that I can /nin /mnk /thf /sam.

I get an invite, I accept and ask what they would like me to sub. I'm not completly retarded, I check the party list to see if I'm asking to get my self killed or if it's okay to bust out the better sub. But the leader is a thf, and we had a sam/war in the party for the first voke. Figured hate would be set on the nin and I could unleash a bit more DD power with /sam.

Well we get to camp and no one bothers to inform me that the sam is going to switch to /rng. Well he's another pet peeve. So what you got a soboro, you have underskilled archery, no racc gear and are eating meat... Maybe the wind from the arrows missing will knock the colibri out of the sky.

But fine, they want me to first voke now that we all walked to camp. Doing lesser colibri, even though we're a bit high for them. yay for 80 exp a kill. But still, they can hit me hard, so I'd expect the thf to set hate pronto. But no, he dicks around and waits for him and the sam to have TP so he can SATA ws. Well tough shit, I already RR twice and took the mob to 40% while you all were dicking around.

Thank God the mages were sympathic to me, and weren't complete idiots. Two rdm party went ok. Still only about 4k/hr even hitting chain 7s. But I'm starting to understand why TP burn became popular.

Kinda side note: Is TParty a big shock to people? I had thought it was kinda standard that most had or at least knew about it. Not saying that anyone needs to use it, but me telling you I can see you MP and I'll close a SC when I see you WS shouldn't really be a shock to you.

Spent 2-3 minutes asking nicely if we had any 'suggestions'

Of course in true pick up pt fashion, all 5 other members didnt say anything until it got a little pathetic.

The guy was a nub though... dual weilding a triple dagger in his off hand.

I mean cmon, I know people dont have lots of gil but srsly, try to make me believe youre trying with another 1h axe even. heck, i'll let it go with a 1h sword too.

At 64 WHM I still see Elvaan RDMs in full RSE and AF weapon.

I mean come on, I know the hat's not easy to get, but the freaking boots (which admittedly suck) are easy as shit to get and getting them allows you to get the coffer for at least your tights and tabard.

I mean there's some gear that's acceptable and some that's just ... not. I understand the aversion to wearing some pieces of AF that are gay, but the good ones ... why wouldn't you take your time out of leveling to just go get them?

Another peeve: Mages past 51 who don't have staves. A wand is good, but that extra elemental accuracy (and the cure potency + of light, and the hMP of dark) really is worth the gil. Stop freaking leveling and go farm!

My WHM is 64 and I'm at about 1/3 of the gil I need to get Nobles. You'd better believe that, as much as I like leveling WHM and I want to get to 75, I'm going to stop everything to farm the gil I need for Nobles before I need it.

It's not rocket science, people.
