    Anyone has toau expansion that is on CD instead of DVD?

    as the topic said. anyone bought any toau which is in CD ROM and not DVD?

    i wanna buy toau but i dont have a dvd rom XD

    and i saw this web site which selling it and it state CD ROM.

    here is the picture of it.

    Oh ya, PLS take note that this is JP Onry Version!
    And you cant use it on a ff account that is on english version.
    Incase anyone saw it as a CD ROM and buy it.

    Anyway as long as its in original cd rom it can be english or japanese ff pls post here so i know SE did produce toau in cd rom too.

    could be a scam, as SE officially released it for the DVD-rom onry. Your best bet is to borrow/buy a dvd-rom, in my humble opinion.

      seriously doubt its a scam.
      my fren which has been buying a lot of games from this site before.
      Maybe they input wrongly as CD ROM.
      Thats what i am worried about ^^

      But in other forum some people said their friend has it on cd rom.
      So double checking where to see if anyone has cd rom toau expansion

        Well, if credible people say they have the CD-rom version, by all means, go for it.

          few sites including amazon JP also list the game as Cd rom even tho they are DVD. I don't know if they fix it yet.

            one way to be sure, check out the jp POL/Square e-comerce site. The US version says DVD only, but if it says CD there, well, maybe its CD.

              You can also install it in a convoluted way. If you know someone with a laptop or a portable/light pc, you can network them using a cable, access their dvd drive, and install from that. Getting the proper cable may be a hassle though.

                      The image method, yes. But that's same as using a networked Dvd-drive, because you still need someone else to image it, and send the image somehow.

                      There's been a whole tread about that. I think they're as cheap as 10-30 dollar.

                        Okay here is the thing. You can buy the DVD and the CD-ROM version here in my local Walmart. What is the difference between the 2? I mean why have the two i know not everyone has a CDROM but what does the DVD do? Save you time on disk swapping? If so what a price jump for just that feature alone. $29.99, rather then the $19.99. Oh well DVD for me althought I should also buy the older DVD expansion and toss my CDs. :") Take care see all of you in expansionsville.

                          30, 40 bucks tops. 70-80 if you want a dvd burner.

                            actually you can get DVD ROM drives (not burners) online for as little as ~$20.
