Newb question

Ok I know there is a way to check what server you'll be on before you are logged in but how? I can never do it because it either logs me in or shows nothing is there.. I am trying to get on Fairy and so far having no luck having to be logged in everytime because I don't know how to check before. Thanks

When you first create a character you need to use a world pass to guarentee what server you'll be on. You have to get someone on that server buy you a pass in-game and tell you the code, then you can enter this when you create your character.

Once you've created at least one character on a server, any other characters you create on the same account you will be able to choose that server (You need at least one content ID connected to the server however) w/o having to buy another WPS. This saves in-game gil down the road when setting up multiple mules.

Also, the old trick where you just recreate your character over and over until you get the server you want was fixed years ago, iirc. Successive attempts will just be created on the same character your first one was. If you want a specific server, you need a worldpass. You can request one ... oh, you already found it. >_> *post anyway*
