It doesn't work that way. You get the item from the worldpass NPC.

And Aeni, you only get a beret after 40 days. "First invite: Guide Beret; Each additional invite: 1 item from Item List (A)" meaning on successive Gold Worldpass invites you get to choose another item instead, since you already have a Sprout Beret, which is Rare/Ex.

Inviting character: Guide Beret, Timepiece or NQ/HQ event item
Invited character: 12 Chocopasses, Sprout Beret, Timepiece or NQ event item

If you got two things on your main and three things on your second main, then you got exactly what the site we've been linking says you're supposed to get. In a year you may get something else. We don't know what.

Just figured out the tune the Timepiece plays. It's a musicbox version of the Vana'diel March, the song that's played on the title screen and character select screens before you install CoP. Just now loaded up the Star Onions version and it clicked. ^^

Okay, so I counted three things on Akemie Chocobo tickets from Day One (10 rare/ex tickets, I'm not sure if I had a choice or not) Then I receive a Mandy Cap. Also I chose Mithran Top (God knows why, but probably because I thought I had two choices, not one)

On Aliza, who invited Akemie, I received a Guide Beret and a Treat Staff. That's about it.
