{Level Up} SAM 69 - I'm really liking Soboro in campaign.

... and hit the 100k mark on Allied Notes. But... can't decide if I want that Cobra Harness (for Dnc) or the Fourth Bunne (sp?, for SAM).

Had a very good run on Dynamis - Qufim last night. We got the {Mega Boss} down to about 5% HP or less before it wrekt us kinda suddenly. Got alot of relic gear drops for such a short run but nothing anyone wanted except a COR belt that went freelot 45+ cuz the LSs main COR didn't come for some reason. Though he was there in LS chat.

That Fourth body will last you 2 levels tops, go for the Cobra Harness.

Good night for me last night, Homam Manopolas and a big chunk of merits, dumped my one Wind Instrument skill in exchange for Elemental Skill #6 and got Nightingale #3.

Had a ridiculous MMMerit round that netted a shade under 7 merits, so Troubadour #4 get and 18 merits until BRD is done...then I get to start base stats, kind of dreading those.

Also a new toy from our SCNM trigger farming today:

2nd time my sky LS does Kirin and they give me a Kirin's osode, I'm made up with is, I know every dd has one of theses nowadays but its a big deal to me and I was amazed when they gave it to me seen as tho I joined the ls a few weeks after they started doing sky. Managed to crack kirin for 1059 dmg tachi gekko which I was proud of for a hagunless sam.

Got my 2nd store tp and 2nd GK merit. Then went off and broke my polearm latent, just need to get the people together for the fight now so I can start on tachi kasha and savage blade.

Thanks Callisto. I ended up pooring through forums actually and then getting the Cobra Harness outta spite from the utter lack of info on either peice. So what if I look like a purple leather dancer from a very flamboyant rendition of Rocky Horror Picture Show; I don't have to wear my SH anymore, right. ... and I have the Cap and Booties from before so I might as well attempt to get the whole set. Garter belt last tho....

SAM 70 - I was doubted over LS on getting any decent xp through campaign. Idk.. I got most (if not all) of Lvl 69 and 5k over lvl 70 from {campaign battle} in a day and a half. Not to mention a few pretty decent drops from the spoils (O.peice, Wyv. Wing, DrkStl Ingot... other decent NPC'd things) and enough A.N. to get a healthy start on getting the Bull (necklace?) after getting the Cobra Harness. But now I gotta skill-up a bit.

Tried {Einherjar} for the first time with my Dyna LS. It was fun... quite a zerg fest ... we did the one with slug-things and a giant battle pig {mega boss} (idr the names at all ). They have a ton of HP... we lost but we really did come pretty close. But... I don't really see any rewards I want for doing {Einherjar} yet.

Obtained a Swift Belt for my lvl 50 NIN and then later that night at Dynamis Beaucidine, I lotted a 967 to win Koga Chainmail. Good night indeed.

Finally got invited to my first real merit party Sam (me) War War Rdm Brd Brd. 46k xp in 2 hrs chain 66 followed by chain 142 before we had to disband because the Rdm had to go, got me level 3 store tp and a spare merit to put towards level 4. Was the most fun Ive ever had bird bashing, every one did there job and it was smooth.

Funny Story... and sorta an accomplishment though not the intended result.... Duo'n the end of Sandy Missions with me (DNC/NIN) and my buddy (PLD/DNC for 8.2/9.1 & RDM/BLM for finale)

Got Sandy 8.2 done ~ We get SMN assistance breaking and entering after we unsuccessfully attempt to farm the key (got 2 coffer keys tho). After we get the key fragments, the SMNs get aggro randomly as I accidentally pop the damn NMs cuz I'm stoopid and hadn't gotten that far on the wiki page. So me and my buddy PLD/DNC tank the NMs to death instead of any sorta plan. No trouble though really.

Got Sandy 9.1 done ~ ez enuff... Except that when he pulled the NMs and zoned; they came after me (ty Ni) so I barely made it to the zone as I was pecked repeatedly. He had no idea of my plight because he zoned as I said something and came back into Batalia with like less than 200HP to find 2 giant birds greeting him with really really hard kisses. He zoned back into Eldieme with like 46HP ... well... once we rested and zoned back in... duo'n one was no problem.

So... this brings us to Sandy 9.2... the “Finale” fight for Sandy. Honestly we didn't really think we had a chance. Duo Tactic: I tank the WHM Warmachine while he sleeps/kites the crowd of orcs as I Waltz him to stay alive off the TP from the warmachine. We're doing splendid... I have killed the warmachine and we've taken down 1-2 of his orc pals when what happens? What could possibly go wrong? ... buddy mis-casts Warp (instead of Sleep) and doesn't realize it til he sees the ball forming in his hands. Suddenly I'm alone with a gaggle of orcs. So... I call upon the power of the Ruffles of DOOM and solo the rest of them ...until the BCNM kicks me out on the last orc with 20% HP left and I'm about ready to Wild Flourish + Dancing Edge after a 3 step Building Flourish that proly woulda ended him Seriously... the hardest part was fighting past the tears from laughing sooooooo hard after the Warp.

... sidenote... my buddy did not make it back from the HP in time. (Sandy>WG>tele>Xarca>Beacy>FeiY... lolz)

2nd attempt... no Warps involved. We duo the first wave as intended and I'm easily tanking the golden PLD of the orcs when, right after Trion kills the BLM, he is one-shotted. Elvaan princes... /sigh ... what a bunch o' sissies.

… none the less…

It was 3am at that point… so we’ll attempt again when I haven’t turned to Zombie.

I discovered someone on my server who actually prefers exploring over camping the Dunes.
These people are damn hard to find, especially ones that are close to my level.
Now we just need to find a few more and we'll have a static adventuring party.

Also, I got to see a Goblin Leecher cast Silena on itself the moment its silence wore off. Maybe it was partly because I cast Silence twice while it was already silenced because I wasn't paying attention. Still, lol AI.

And I've been making a few Gold Earrings lately, even though I'm still a few levels down from its cap. It started when someone from LS needed one, then I made a few more with some ingots I had. Basically, some skill-uppers drove the price into the ground (about half what it costs if you can't find under-priced ingots), then nobody wanted to make them for a 50% loss, and lots of folks have been having to go without RNG AF.
