Just in case any of you are interested, I thought I'd post this.
Everyone has been saying you cannot use your existing POL account on the new xbox360 beta.
This is only half true.
You can still login using your POL account from your normal platform and register the beta ffxi content id under that account. That way you're still logging in with your normal account, but when you login it only shows your new beta character on the select screen.
(So you still can't play your main char on the 360, but you can register the beta content id so you don't have to remember two logins)
