Hello everyone
Although I'm new here, I hope that someone could help me out. Don't worry, I'll try to be active as much as possible, not just lying around asking questions.

I play Final Fantasy since the end of August. So far I've done differents quests and missions and got my Bastok Rank 3 today, as a MNK25/WAR12.

However, this weekend I'm really confused. How does this moogle event works ?
I've been trading cards for 2 days, and only got fireworks from moogle ... Am I doing something wrong ?

I proceeded like this: I got a card from Moogle at Bastok Market. It was for a WHM40. I did a search on them and finally found a WHM who accepted the card. Then I got back to Moogle. He gave me another card for another Job, which I've also been looking for. I repeated this several times.

I also shouted for receiving a Monk 20 card. I got three of them by now and only got fireworks.
How does this event work ? I've no clue at all.

This evening someone told me I had to give a card to the person needed. That person would get a new card and a present. That person should then trade the new card with me and tell me the job and level it is for. This should be done 4 times to get a Dream Robe + 1

Really ... hearing different versions is very confusing for the newbie I am.
Can someone please explain how I should proceed?

I've thrown away all the card and waiting to get a new one to start from scratch.

Not quite true. You can't accept any cards at that level, but I've given cards from my BLM4 mule.

Yeah but I can't turn any in to the moogles to get anything so it makes it pointless to bother :p

Compared to the time you will need to spend on the event to get the robe, it will take you no time to get that one more level you need to participate.

This event is pretty much over on midgard. There's very few people still doing it, so those of us that still haven't gotten our robes are pretty much screwed. I've given away tons of cards, but only gotten 2. Guess my best bet is to get a new card from the moogle every hour and hope it's one I need.

the way to get the robe is to get the 4th card that is traded to the moogle. meaning every card you take or anyone take is 1st card then u trade it to someone and he trade to the moogle and moogle return the 2nd card and so on till the 4th card then is the card for the robe.

I don't know whether to give up on this bloody event, or to keep trying... -.-; Every single time I get a card it's always for some job/level in Jeuno. I sit around for hours shouting out the bloody card and rarely do I get a reply... -.-;; I keep encouraging everyone else to keep at it, but I now understand the frustration! @_@ I keep askin' myself if going through this hell is worth it, what'dya think?

Would help if we had some info on the Dream Robe +1 selbina milk effect to evaluate it.

A number of people have been requesting trade-back of the card you get back from the moogle...

How to get the dream robe +1: (also how you get the dream robe minus requiring the robe)
What happens is, you get a card from the mog & it has its job on it. Trade it to someone who has that job & lvl, have them trade it to the mog, & get it back. Do this until the 4th time on the card, no matter what, its going to be something you have, job & lvl wise. Also, you have to make sure that each person that trades the card to the mog has the dream robe On! they have to have it on, need to remember that or you'll be very sad. Otherwise, you'll get one of the choco passes. . .
