Gee where did you get the idea that maintence is cheap...

I can start sprouting about yearly incomes of certified technicians, that are on call nontheless, for round the clock.

And this is not including updates to the actual game, which cost developer money, not technicians.

Oh and let's not forget bandwith cost, and server costs.

But let's look at other companies.

On the bottom of the hill for me is RO, which its notorious as it is, already, and even then it was so bad that from korean weekend, if the server went down you had to wait till monday, not buts. 24hr service it is not, you might as well try a fortuneteller.

Blizzard is actually more expensive then ffxi, and they you can say it is still not as stable and their GM services aren't exactly stellar, and content update is medicore.

All companies have to face problems and Shit Happens. You have to realize even if they're not being saints, they're not slouching either.

IF you want better service they you should take your money elsewhere, but shop around before you do, because no one is in it to lose money.

Really though...is it only newtimers that complain on stuff like this? Having not realized the value of things. Yea it's annoying, we lost a dynamis run because of this, but hey, been there done that.

I can log in too, dunno if FFXI works though. I got class soon. Hopefully it's all up by the time I get home and I won't have to wait ^_^. But either way doesn't matter much to me. I'm not addicted to this game, it's just fun. I got lots of other games to play.

so is fxi up and running yet or what
i havent been able to play this weekend much cause i had to give my friend his network adaptor back and when i went to eb games to pick up a new one they were closed at like 6
i was pissed
i think i m gunna pick one up today
i really wanna play i just rejoined and so far havent got any playing time

Malfunction of network equipment.

Fixed now (supposedly) but goes down again at 1 pm edt. I love their "Cause."
