A mining question

I took up mining not long ago,went to different mines,found the usual stuff.
pebbles,iron ore,copper oreand such,not a good profit at auction house..
but found mine gravel.
My question is what is mine gravel,and what do you get from it,there is ore in it
how do i get it out,and is it worth it?

Its a Sandy rank mission item. Worth nothing and no ore to break out of it.

new items added for mining, im sure you could make a lot of money in the areas mentioned by playonline if you took the time. also, go to Gusgen mines and you will get far less mine gravel, if any. very good place to mine, and i think you can avoid agro in the whole place at lv 50

You only get mine gravel in Palb from Mythril seams. It's a quest item used to get rank 3 for Sandy/windy. Don't mine at the mythril seams and you won't get gravel. Only thing you get from those points is the gravel.

Newbie mistake for everybody, mythril seams in Palborough DO NOT GIVE mythril ore.

I was so disappointed after I figured that out.
