Server Population stats and er...Hi

Hi,

I've been on Garuda on and off for months, returned to the game recently and its even emptier than ever. :depress:

A question I have is "how is your server determined when you start a new character?" I've never managed to create one on any other server! It's weird.

I live in the UK, have the Euro version and still only get Garuda?

And Hi. I'm new to these boards, only have the one character atm lev 7 MNK called CarterKo, and am glad I've found somehwere with such good info on the game :-)

Ok so I missed the most popular server thread below and apologise for trawling through the same rubbish twice, but have edited out that bit now :-)

Hello.

the reason you keep getting put on the same server (Garuda) is because once you create one character, all your other characters will be placed on the same server. to get it to "random" your server again, make sure all your characters have been deleted.

Ya tried that...It's no worries though. Having fun atm on Garuda as a monk.

If you've deleted all characters and re-made them and still ended up on Garuda then its just chance. You have a higher chance of getting on a low population server so that could account for getting it after several tries.

Either keep trying or find someone to get get you a world pass for a different server.

thx for the advice guys. Although I started on FFXI when the Euro version came out I still feel kinda new to it so all the info I can get is good :-)
