You can see Ro'Maeve below it, you can see the central structure of Ru'Avitau (with quite a few details, such as the pointy parts at the top and that big crystalline spot that glows), you can see the general layout *and* shapes of the islands.

The only thing Al'Taieu-ish about it is the ring of islands around the middle, but Tu'Lia *does* have those - in reality, they're somewhat lower and more spread out (so it's more occasional islands than something that looks like a ring). Next time you're in Ru'Aun, look up at those islands up above that you can't get to.

Both places do have five-way symmetry, a generally circular layout, and the important structure is in the middle. But other than that they look pretty different. If you look below Bahamut in the picture of Bahamut, *that* is Al'Taieu. Look at the shape of the central structure, that's Hu'Xzoi.

That picture of Tu'Lia looks like it is sitting in a body of water (not floating in the sky) to me. As for the structure at the bottom of the picture, yeah it could represent Ro'Maeve or possibly the structure that you are ported to from the Hall of Gods that you use to port to the main mass of Tu'Lia (though it does not look like that on the in game map). Very nice pictures btw.

Would be intesting to have this blown up with clarity to see if that red text says anything significant. Maybe it could even give clues as to what the green porters in Tu'Lia do!!!1
Russta I think that even clear/blown up those are probably written in some 'ancient' script so it's still prolly nonsense to us.

However, if Tulia's green porters each took you to crags at other places that would be nice e_e

Perhaps Ro'maeve was where Tu'Lia was built? That could explain why it seems to be on the ground in that picture.

Though personally I always thought that Tu'Lia was the missing chunk out of Qufim Island.

Not just Qufim, out of the entire coast of the Shumeyo Sea. Take a look at the cliffs in Sauromugue and Battalia, they look like the land's been carved away by some kind of force. All the trees near the coast are bent away at an angle, as if they were blown off to the side by a powerful wind or shockwave. Same goes for the trees on Qufim, they look like someone nuked the place.

I always thought that Tu'Lia hovered above Delkfutt's Tower, and that the Zilart used that as the launchpad for the various bits of Tu'Lia. All the crystal lines seem to connect there.

That blast effect can be seen along the entire coastline of the Shu'Meyo Sea. It very much looks like to me that the stone cliffs of the coastline were melted by the blast and afterward cooled to an obsidian-like form. You can travel the coastline in Beaucedine Glacier, Batallia Downs, Sauromugue Champaign, Quifm Island (north coast) and I think maybe even in Ro'Maeve and you can see this effect. I think it's pretty neat and a nice bit of detail on SE's part since there is a history behind this. Not that there are not other things in other zones that don't have stories behind them as well but this is one of my favorite "landmarks" in the game.

Well, as we all know there are 3 xtals at each crag. 1 is the whm tele spell crystal and 1 is the broken crystal to enter promys. That leaves a single crystal with no use. Imo it wouldnt be too farfetched to think it may later be an additional route to tulia; a one way trip to the green teleporters maybe? The crags all connect to delk supplying it with the power to hold tulia up. Maybe xtal materializes you into energy then sends you along the crystal lines and you reconstitute inside the rings of the green tele. Imagine tulia being only a tele hora away.

As much as this looks like Tu'Lia, even to me, I still can't get myself to accept that it is. My point of argument here is that, the islands don't corrolate to the overall shape of Al'Taieu the way I think most people are comparing it.

If you look past the field in Al'Taieu, to the core of the map, you can see this set of white-cerment-chunk-looking structures, in a sort of horizontal layering, like in the photo... possibly the remains of a city; after all, Al'Taieu was the capital...

It's possible, however unlikely, that this is a photo of the core of Al'Taieu. I don't know how to explain the Ro'Maeve-looking thing on the bottom though, but I honestly can't remember floating concentric rings around the tower of Ru'Avitau, unlike in Al'Taieu, the red aura/5-dots/floaty thing around Hu'Xzoi.

On a wild guess, perhaps Al'Taieu is the structure beneath and this is actually the Garden of Ru'Hmet, or someplace new/unseen. Judging from the map, though, I would say this is unlikely, but not impossible :3

The central tower carries the shape of a lot of buildings though, not forgetting Delkfutt's, the peak of the crags, Ru'Avitau and Hu'Xzoi. After all, these objects were built by the same people, why wouldn't they use the same design over again? I think that sort of leaves room for open-ended discussion on this photo, seeing as how the layout doesn't quite match Tu'Lia either, even though the similarities are... noticable :3

In an earlier post she mentioned that she wrote down Al'Tieu by mistake, that is Tu'Lia. That painting is found in Uggalepih, a couple of years before CoP was released.

I had find it strange that many events in CoP briefly reference the events in RoZ but are never explicitly mentioned by name. For example in the cutscene with Kam'lanuat, it shows him as ??? and Tu'Lia never seems to be mentioned at all except for an obscure reference to the Celestial Nexus events.

                            indeed that is tulia..
if you ever have the chance, there is a series of quests while I can't remember the name they involve paintings named "final fantasy", "final fantasy part II", etc..etc..
they will shed some light on the art work there

                                ...besides that, what was the point of having like 50 paintings of Tu'Lia? ; ;
