Server Reset and King Spawns

Forgive me if this is common knowledge already, but does server reset not affect the spawn times of Aspid/Nidhogg/KB?

On Midgard the last 2 maintenances KB popped the very next day, and on the maintenance just last Monday Nidhogg spawned the very next day... could just be coincidence, could be something new, but I was under the impression that when they restart the server it also resets the king spawns?

Each time Square kicks people off to do maintenance, for however short, it's considered a server reset, and King rotations reset.

Any time there is a small maintenance where you don't have to log off, or to certain areas only, the server remains unchanged.

KB can pop before server down, only to pop right at server up, though that never happens. It usually pops the next day though >.>;

I remember when KB was supposed to pop on midgard it was the day of a maintenance and it was a 100% pop. maintenance started before the window had started, once it was over KB still popped.

The only correction to this is if they perform maintenence on a zone where a HNM spawns, the cycle for that NM will be reset. I know it happened in Jugner when they had to restart that zone, King Arthro spawn reset.

Generally from what I've found, King versions won't spawn the first day, but will tend to spawn the next day (or a week after, as Aspido once did for my LS -_- )

It works like this. When the server is reset only normal NMs will spawn, Behemoth, Adamantoise, and Fafnir in 0-3 hours from when the server is up. However once they have been killed, the next day the kings have a chance to spawn. The king versions are a lottery of the regular versions, with 72 hour reset time after they have been killed. You kill the place holder (normal version) the first day, so the 2nd day a king as the chance to spawn.

If a partial mantence occurs, the areas which go down will have all the NM timers in that area are reset. But won't affect the rest of the server.
