Question on Kirin's Drops (Drop Rate)

Hi, our LS recently started kirin on a weekly basis (perhaps we'll bump that to 2-3 times eventually as we get the hang of it)

My Question how rare is the drop rate on Kirin's Osode and Pole? We've gotten one of each so far, and I'm not sure if it's because we're lucky or because the drop isn't too bad.

On the other hand, I've seen many JPN and NA HNMLSes on every server with several of their members equipped with pole/osode; but then you never know how long they've been around, how many kirin's they've killed.

Does TH3 (Thief's Knife) have any effect on it?

There are several jobs in our LS that could use the osode (RNG, MNK, BRD, NIN, etc.)

As well the pole (MNK, mages, etc.)

And that's why this topic's been brought up.

orz, my LS has gotten extremely lucky. The two times we've done kirin, we've gotten pole, osode, and shining cloth.

4 Osodes
3 Poles
2 Shining Cloths
1 W.legs
5-6 D.body

1 shinning cloth

The time when shinning cloth dropped had no th3 only th2, hee all about luck it seems.

Can you pop kirin anytime so you can do it like 4 times in a row if you have enough seals?

yes, the ??? spot pops 15 mins after kirin dies. since the battle takes 1-3 hours, and in my experience it can take 2-3 hours just to get people there, it would be hard to kill kirin a bunch of times simply because of the time involved

Whats with the new ingot that drops from Kirin? That IS new.

Any idea what its used for?

2~3 hrs seems like a lot, we've never gone over 2. and we've gotten under 1 hr, but yes - you can do it as many times as long as you've got seals. The ??? has a 15 min repop after it dies^^

This repop is new info to me. Is it like that only for Kirin, or all gods? And what do you have to trade?

I'm curious. Are you talking about the orichalum ingot(in that pic up there) or something else that just got added? If you're talking about the orichalum(please forgive me if you're not) it's always been in the game, it's a LV90+ goldsmith synth item.

its same for all gods. Regulars are certain triggers, kirin is a seal from each god
