  • enchanted items: how do you refill?

as most people know, there's new items out with a number of "charges." the easiest to get is the signet staff from each nation, costs 5000 CP for rank 1 or above. there's many other items that are crafted and still others that are NM or BCNM drops supposedly.

my question is, how do you refill the charges on these items? maybe there is no way to charge them, but some of them are hard to get (warp club is very expensive, one item is an HNM drop) so it seems sort of dumb that they would be almost useless after a few uses.

in diablo2 (the only other RPG i played) you could get any NPC to recharge them for a fee.

that reminds me, one more question - actually two more:

what's the "ducal recall" ring do? it has 30 charges, but what's it do?

and from the previous patch, they added two level 1 rings that are rare/ex but you can craft them to be rare only. did anyone ever figure out what those rings are for?

the rare/ex rings you're talking about are the rewards for a quest in San d'Oria where you have to find the prince a suitable bride. To remove the ex from it you use a light crystal on it. Atleast I think those are the rings and the method used.

A rank10 that has the signet staff informed me that you simply take it back to the NPC at the gate where you got the item. They will recharge it, in exchange for more CP.

How does that work for things like the Reraise Gorget? Do they recharge that too?

There's a thread over at alla that basically says you don't. You use up the charges and the item becomes a normal one e.g. warp cudgel becomes oak cudgel. Then you basically have to synth it up again.

                      Thanks Yyg!

wow... you make it sound like a horrible thing :D. Think of it like this: Only use your enchaments as often you use your 2 hour . That should hold that off for quite a bit :D.

You don't pay 90k for 30 uses of warp ONLY -.-; That's how much the warp cudgel goes for on Lakshmi, and I think it's sad that they don't have it recharging :-\.

imo the 22000cp saved from warp scrolls is worth 90k
