Norg Ferry

Is there a quest that allows you to gain access to the boat you see in Norg? I can see where I think the way to the boat is but it's blocked by a Galka or is this just there for some cutscene? A few friends tell me this is the pirate vessel that raids off Selbina so I'm guessing that sadly the only way to and from Norg is via the Grotto but I'd like confirmation.

Arr 'tis the scurvy seadog, their pirate vessel. It's the boat that indeed does raid the selbina boat, I believe. No way to get on it. :X

it is possible that in the CoP expansion, this boat may allow you to go to a different area of the world... who knows? If you explore vandiel enough, you will stumble upon some strange things that suggest a possible new "zone" to a new area. For example, in Batallia downs, in the NE corner (i think), there is a cave, and at the end, all there is is a big black wall... very interesting. Also, I can't remember, but there are other times where something seemed out of place =\

the mithra in kazham blocking off an exit? unless thats to a quest...hmm...in sand near the air ship dock the rest of the walk way is blocked off...there are alot of places...

I belive it it for future expansion use.

There ferry would probably travel from norg to the Tenshodo HQ in jeuno (mainly due to the fact that there is a Galka in the HQ that is also blocking a exit).

Try this on for size......... Ever notice how the weather NPC in norg gives you weather for the norg fiery >.>?

coulda been one of two things....there is a quest or a way to get on that ferry or....hes a hacker and made a no walla code and walked right throught the galka...the world will never know...

edit: i went to the site the pics where hosted at and used altavista to translate what the people where posting about it...it sounds like the are switching files....either that or they are talking about trading some map or equipment or both with some one or something...i dunno altivista sucks and things are mistranslated with it...

those are all the pics i could fine. Theres no explination on how they go past. Chances are that its a crack in one of the walls. much like how people walk all over the airship. There is not a no-clipping hack like doom ;p

...go to the site...translate what they say...they are talking about changing the map file...in other words...thy coulda made the game thing they are in an open place such as the dunes where there are no walls...there for walking right past past the galka like he was never there...
