  • Sandorian Citizen using CP to buy Bastok Armour?

    Is this possible?

I'm a Lv 30 Rank 3 San'd Orian Citizen wanting to trade CP for Bastokian Centurian Armour.

    Thanks

    You have a few options:

You can buy the gear in the AH... each piece will probably be 8000 - 12000 gil each. If you don't have the gil, you COULD buy SanDoria CP gear and sell that in the AH to raise the gil you need.

Depending on the results of the last tally, if YOUR nation is in first place, talk to a Bastok guard and you can purchase Bastok CP gear with your SanDoria CP. I don't recommend that method because you will pay double the CP for it (Rank 3 gear is 4000 CP each, you will have to pay 8000 CP each).

You could also strike a private deal with someone who's Bastokan and wants something from Sandoria. Buy the 2 items for same amount of CP, then exchange.

Like the above posters said, you can do it, but it's not really worth it. Takes alot longet to get 8k CP than it does 10k gil. Just save it and use money. Also, the way it works is that you can obtain CP equip from any nation ranked below you in the conquest standings. If you are in first, you can get CP items from both other nations. (but at double their price)

I think you can buy other nation's items with your CP, except the CP price is doubled. I almost did this with windurstian items.

In the end i found its easier just to spend a few hours farming beehive chips, seeds etc to sell and buy the armour.

Rather than sitting for hours in Bastok finding someone willing to trade CP or spend double CP. Got 1 piece already

            Thanks for the replies!

I hope i don't throw a monkey wrench into your plans by saying this, but you should be targeting Mercenary Captain's Gear from Windurst instead if you're an Elvaan RDM... a few of the pieces give nice DEX and AGI bonuses, as opposed to Centurions gear with its VIT bonus. I know that the Cent gear has a bit better defence, but trust me, for a RDM (specifically Elvaan) you shouldn't need defence as much as DEX.

Just something to consider, but you should really think about getting at least a Mercenary Captain's Doublet Def 20, Dex +1, AGI +1, and Mercenary Captain's Headgear DEF 10, STR +1, DEX +1. Basically the tradeoff is less defence, for better statistical improvements.

IMO, these 2 are must haves at level 30, but for legs and feet, Cent gear is fine.

Centurians has dex and agil also.

Infact Centurian Armour has only +1 vit the rest has ni total +3 Agility and +2 Dex.

                Not so bad

I see your point on the tunic, but i already bought it (plus I like how it looks and like my armour to kinda match up for vanitys sake )
