Tiger fangs seem fine to me. I was killing them earleir in Batallia getting fangs from almost every kill.

I just farm as THF 25 in Tahrongi Canyon.

I get a Bee chip about every bee. I'm like 9/10 on those and I never miss stealing a cotton. Dhamels are good to kill for the hide and femurs. I just camp the tree by the Buburimu zone where the crawlers spawn and I can get all three along with the occasional silk thread. I make almost 20k an hour like this.

I have to go to Windurst every hour to empty my inventory though.

There is no "nerf" for drops. You guys just have to realise that it's random. It's random each time, so just because you've killed 100 tigers, it doesn't mean the next one is more likely to drop a fang.

In the past week, I got two Royal Jellies within a couple of hours off wasps in CN, I got a Gold Orc Mask within a couple of hours in Monastic Cavern, and I've had a lot of other good drops too. You just need good luck - try carrying some superstitious items, whatever works for you

No drop rate change noticed here. I farmed tigers for two hours, got two stacks of fangs (along with other stuff...I stole six silver beastcoins, got 12 treant bulbs, 1 goblin mask, 1 fruit seeds, and 17 tiger hides). This seems to me to be another "the sky is falling" situation. If I had to put my finger on it, I'd say my drop rate is (and pretty much always has been) around 1 in 2.5 for tiger fangs, from level 45 to 51, always with a 15+ thf sub.

There is no reason to cry wolf. Any major change in the drop code that was enough for people to be able to provide more than anecdotal evidence would be listed in the patch notes, imho.

Drops were already pretty random if you ask me. There's one thing I noticed and that is sometimes one particular tiger out of the bunch is tougher than the others. On the other hand, I sometimes miss 3 times in a row, after a hundred perfect hits. I guess the same goes for the tigers :3

You really can't tell unless you analyzed the game before the patch and after, with graphs and everything.

I have noticed this!, It seems its been the day/night/moon thing. I have went a full day and got 1 fang. Then when it became the next day I got 6 consecutive fangs. Maybe it is just that random but it does seem they have been messed with to me. Also last night i got 3 northern furs from gigas in the tower in less than an hour, and they were the ones on the lower floor so the droprate for those is rare as hell. 2 of those were consecutive 2. Maybe we are jus overthinking who can tell.

laf, and your own post is?

There's still possibilities of many sorts (days, months, moon phase, etc) that may affect drop rate among other things. I farmed for spider webs to help a clothecraft friend the other day and drops were just as good as before in Boyahda. I don't care enough to test it, but that's one thing to consider before assuming something's been "nerfed" every time patch x comes out.
